Kenny Lund, Executive VP of ALC, spoke at the Fresh Produce & Floral Council’s Supply Chain Roundtable. During this virtual educational session, Lund presented to the FPFC Apprentice Program, Class 8. Kenny and Heejoo Ramsey, from the Port of Long Beach, discussed supply chain issues affecting businesses, and how these issues have impacted the industry and global supply chain.

The Apprentice Program serves to provide aspiring leaders in the produce industry an opportunity to learn about the various sectors of the industry through educational sessions such as this; tour produce and floral operations; meet and network with industry veterans at luncheons and the FPFC Expo; and participate in a public speaking course and subsequent group presentation to a panel of industry experts. Each Apprentice is paired with an industry mentor for the duration of the program, who helps to guide them on their leadership journey during and after the program.
